Nikki, tell us about your company…
Pepper Virtual Assistant is a business process outsourcing company that was launched early this year. Our mother company, Aspac Advertising, is an ad agency in the Philippines that’s been around since 1975.
Our idea is to provide an all-around virtual assistant, who is not only capable in administrative tasks, but also in other areas, like marketing and customer support. For other projects like web design and development, the our virtual assistants are backed up by a full digital team. This way, they can attend to all of the business and personal needs of their clients. This will inevitably make them the client’s go-to virtual assistant and partner in success.
We’d like to be a virtual Pepper Potts and help make the Philippines the first choice in virtual assistance and outsourcing.
Who or what is Pepper Potts?
Pepper Potts is a fictional character – the personal assistant of IronMan. She was played by Gwyneth Paltrow in the movie. If you watch the movie, you’ll find that she’s the ever reliable and efficient assistant. And that’s what we aim to be!
How did you get involved with Neelima Pratap’s non-profit organization?
I saw your tweet looking for free virtual assistant services for a non-profit organization. And I thought, what a great and unique way to help! I responded and the rest is history.
Why did you choose to donate services?
I know that many small non-profits operate on a shoestring, and they could do so much more good in the world if they had some admistrative help. Grace Educational Trust provides education for slum children in India, which really fits with our values.
Doing our social contribution is really part of my long-term plan for Pepper. It just came sooner than expected, albeit in the form of virtual assistant (VA) services. Since it’s something that we can easily do now, I took the opportunity to provide pro bono virtual assistant work for Grace Educational Trust. I strongly believe that if you do good, it will return tenfold. Good karma, so to speak.
The karma’s already working I hear.
Yes! A bonus is the additional promotions you’ve done for us, like the word-of-mouth recommendations and the testimonial video that Neelima did.
What VA services does your company offer?
We offer general office and administrative support, customer service, marketing, web design/development and creative services such as graphic design. For work that is outsourced to our teams, our VAs will also act as project managers.
How might a home business make best use of your services?
There are several ways we can help small businesses:
1. We can help manage emails and filter them, so that only the
urgent ones will be forwarded to you. We take care of the rest and respond in your behalf.
2. We can help with admin work, such as splicing audio recordings,
updating or posting information on your website, organizing and fixing your documents.
3. We can help manage your calendar and appointments.
4. We can make and accept calls for you.
5. We can do research for you and compile them.
6. We can help manage your social media accounts.
7. And many more!
It’s normally the daily administrative tasks that eat up a lot of time. While these may not be big projects or matters of life and death, they still need to be done so that your business will function well. We can take this load off you so that you can focus on more important aspects of your business, like marketing and growing it.
