Recently I wrote to 1ShoppingCart (which is the service I use to manage my subscriptions and payments) to ask whether I could disable the discount/coupon feature when a client is using an affiliate link.
The scenario that brought this up for me is this: I wanted to offer some partners the ability to send customers through their affiliate link, but I didn’t want the purchaser to get the discount/coupon if purchasing through an affiliate link.
What I learned is that at this point 1ShoppingCart can not disable the discount/coupon feature when a client is using an affiliate link. The support person did share with me that there is a feature request in place with their Product Management team to this effect but she didn’t know if/when this type of feature will be implemented.
